"Great animation will not save a bad story..." Roy Disney Jr.

.....The curtain closes, the buzz and murmuring masses with satiable appetites drumming back to the rattles of their realities, yearning to have played a role, sharing vulnerable moments of laughter and tears their senses relive the fading melody, and echoes of colour..

…. they ask why the indelible memories haunt them, the insatiable thirst returns to the conscious thought of the story, and the story, and the story. (..inspired by a quote from Gen.Douglas MacArthur)

MrBIGBlog ...is shittin' 'Lincoln blogs"

Sorry for my vulgar intro ....I don't pull any punches. After seeing what's going on in this Blog-i-verse ......I am impressed by much of the talent (not all of it!) .... that is out there .....you're firing me up again after years of silence and oppression ....by the Animation Industry ....brought on by myself, my own arrogance ...stepped on by others w/sensitive egos .....discrimination .....leading to the erosion of my confidence ...and great personal loss, my wife, Orsola

Egos belong in the art, not in offices. Life goes on ...we must keep learning

Thanks to some very dear friends ....Peter Emslie, Dave Brewster, Claude and Roger Chaisson, Jim Macaulay, Paul Teolis, Bill and Sue Kroyer, Sang Jin Kim .......and to my family .....my beautiful daughter, Valerie .....and to Alice & Rod Williamson ....

.... and cudos to "my kids!" ......some of the very special 2nd year and 3rd year students ....at Sheridan ......you are my inspiration .......

I ain't no animation "geek" ....don't pretend to be ......in fact I'm cleaning out my house at this very moment, of a LOT of animation memorabilia ......and crap.....

life is not animation .....to some ...it is ..... my advice ............be careful ......stay grounded ......
